Beadly Privacy Policy

Beadly keeps your data on your phone. We don't collect, sell or share it.
This policy is for the Beadly app (حبّات in Arabic), made by Tecages, on Android and iPhone.
What stays on your phone
Your phrases, your daily counts, your settings and any sound file you choose are saved only on your phone, inside the app. We cannot see them. If you uninstall the app, they are deleted.
If your phone's own backup is on (Google backup on Android, iCloud on iPhone), your phone may include this data in your backup, in your own Google or Apple account. We cannot see it.
The app also keeps a small error log on your phone. It records what the app was doing when a problem happened. It does not record your phrases.
Location (only for the Qibla)
If you open the Qibla screen and allow it, Beadly reads your location to work out the direction of the Kaaba. It reads it once, not all the time, and only while that screen is open. Your location is used and saved only on your phone. It is never sent to us or to anyone else. You can choose your city instead, and you can turn location off for Beadly at any time in your phone's settings.
Error reports (only if you send one)
When something goes wrong, the app offers a Send button. If you tap it, your own email app opens with the error log attached, so you can see everything before you send it. Nothing is sent unless you send that email.
If you send it, we receive your email address, the error log and your phone's system version. We use them only to fix the problem and to reply to you. We delete the email once the problem is fixed, and after 12 months at the latest.
Permissions
- Notifications (optional): only if you turn on the goal notification, to tell you when you reach your goal. It is shown on your phone; nothing is sent anywhere.
- Location (optional): only for the Qibla direction, as described above.
- Vibration: for the tap and goal feedback.
- A sound file you pick (optional): copied into the app to play at your goal. It is never uploaded.
Checking for updates
Once a day at most, the app asks Google Play or the Apple App Store whether a newer version is available. Nothing about you is sent to us. Google and Apple handle this under their own privacy policies.
What we don't do
No ads, no analytics or tracking, no accounts, and no access to your contacts, photos, camera or microphone. Your location never leaves your phone. We never sell or share your data.
Children
Beadly is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from them.
Your choices
You can delete all of Beadly's data by uninstalling the app. To have an error report you sent us deleted, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If the app changes how it uses data (for example, when group sessions are added), we will update this page and the date at the top before that version is released.
